“La Capanna” offers a tranquil spot to while away time in a comfortable and convenient location at the same time affording easy access to many of the tourist gems of this scenic area. The medieval towns of Gubbio (30k) Cortona (40k) Perugia (37k) Assisi (45k) Orvieto (75k) Spoleto (65k) & Montone (14k) as well as Lake Trasimeno (27k) are within easy reach as well as many other hillside towns and villages of which this area is particularly rich. Further afield the historic cities of Florence and Sienna are within reach for a day trip either by train or car.
